Window tinting
Garware cooling film that keeps the cabin cooler, cuts glare and blocks UV, fitted within legal limits.
SK Tint has fitted car window tinting in Muvattupuzha since 2015, using Garware films throughout. In Kerala’s heat and humidity, a good cooling film makes a real difference to how the car feels on the afternoon drive home, without making the windshield too dark to see through at night.
Choose from standard full-car tinting or premium heat-rejection films that stay clear enough for the windshield. Not sure how dark to go? Try the shades below, then send us your choice on WhatsApp.
Pick your car and a shade, and see how dark each window will look. A lower VLT means darker glass. When you are happy, send the setup to us on WhatsApp.

Left front: 50% VLT · Left rear: 50% VLT

50% VLT
Light tint with a subtle shaded look. The legal minimum for side windows.
Untick a window to leave it without film, or give each window its own shade.
Full car tinting for a sedan starts at Rs 3,249 (Garware, IRR 10 to 20%). See all prices
Visual simulation only. Real film looks different depending on the film, your car's factory glass and the light. Under Indian law, front and rear windshields must let through at least 70% of visible light (VLT) and side windows at least 50%. SK Tint fits film within legal limits and will advise you on what is compliant. Car images are AI-assisted illustrations based on a photo by Marselo Jurado on Unsplash.
Cooling film keeps a large share of the sun’s heat out, so the cabin stays cooler and the AC does not have to work as hard.
Blocks most of the sun’s UV rays, protecting your skin on long daytime drives.
Softer light from the sun and oncoming headlights makes driving more comfortable, day and night.
Film on the side glass, within legal limits, keeps passengers and belongings less visible from outside.
Less UV and heat means dashboards, seats and trim are slower to fade and crack.
Supreme Court rules require at least 70 percent visible light transmission (VLT) on the front and rear windshields, and at least 50 percent on the side windows. VLT is the share of light that passes through the glass and film, so a higher number means a lighter tint.
SK Tint fits films within these legal limits and will advise you on what is compliant for your car before you choose. This is general guidance rather than legal advice, and rules and enforcement can change, so check with the authorities if you are unsure.
